We are incredibly thrilled to welcome our new Deputy Director for Global Safe Water, Andy Narracott. Andy comes to us from Water and Sanitation Services for the Urban Poor (WSUP) where he was the Deputy CTO. There, he was instrumental in building a new business unit focused on strengthening private sector delivery of basic water and sanitation services for the urban poor. He also was previously Chief of Party for the USAID-funded African Cities for the Future program, and chairman for Clean Team Ghana Ltd and SmartLife Kenya Ltd in collaboration with Unilever; all programs of WSUP.

He is a highly respected water and sanitation expert, social entrepreneur, and chartered civil engineer with experience working in a number of developing countries.

We are excited to welcome Andy to our leadership team. He will grow Dispensers for Safe Water, our innovative sustainable rural water service that is expanding in Kenya, Uganda, and Malawi. Andy will be in invaluable asset in reaching our goal of serving 25 million people with on-going access to safe water for less than $0.50 per person by 2018.

Andy is based in Nairobi and can be found on twitter at @AndyNarracott
